About
Every build starts with an axiom.
Haxiom is a nonprofit that runs hackathons, workshops, and mentorship for students. We exist to make building something real feel possible for anyone.
Our mission
Give every student the chance to build something real, whatever their experience, background, or budget.
Hackathons are one of the fastest ways to learn. You pick a problem, team up, and build until something works. But they can feel out of reach if you’re new to code, can’t cover the cost, or don’t know anyone there.
Haxiom runs events that remove those barriers: free to attend, built for beginners, and full of mentors who want to help.
Our name
Hack+axiom=Haxiom
An axiom is a truth you start from, the base that everything else is built on. Ours is simple: anyone can build.
Our values
Four axioms we build on.
-
Anyone can build.
No experience needed. With beginner workshops and mentors in the room, your first hackathon can be where you write your first line of code.
-
Cost is never the barrier.
Our events are free for students. Sponsors and donors cover the venue, the meals, and the prizes.
-
Nobody builds alone.
Find a team at kickoff, grab a mentor when you’re stuck, and leave with people you’ll want to build with again.
-
Ship something real.
Go from idea to working demo in a single event. Finished beats perfect.
Leadership
Meet the founders.
Haxiom was founded by Aarush Kikkuru, Raaghav Komethagan, and Ritvik Krishna.
A nonprofit, start to finish.
Haxiom is a nonprofit organization. Sponsorships and donations go toward our programs for students, and everyone at our events follows our Code of Conduct.
